Former Texas Governor Ann Richards Honored with 50 Downtown Houston Ann Banners
(HOUSTON, Texas) – The Ann Richards Legacy Project, together with the City of Houston, Houston Downtown Management District, and a host committee led by former Houston Mayor Pro Tem Ellen Cohen and Ambassador Arthur Schechter, announced today the installation of more than 50, red, white and blue Texas Governor Ann Richards banners. The public art display honors the iconic 45th Governor of Texas and marks the 30th anniversary of her gubernatorial inauguration.
